Guess Who's Back?

Welcome to the Weekly Sceptic episode 90!

In a week full of political news, Nick and Toby talk about:

-Nigel Farage's decision to stand in Clacton and become the leader of Reform

-The many reasons Farage's shock announcement is bad news for Rishi Sunak, including the risk that he'll now have to contend with the Reform leader in a televised debate

-Whether Reform can replace the Tories as the leading party of the Right by 2029

-They then look across the pond to discuss Trump's conviction and ask what it is, exactly, he's been found guilty of?

And premium content on www.basedmedia.org, which this week includes:

-A bumper week for 'far Right' smears, what with Tommy Robinson's protest march, the knife attack by an Islamist at an anti-Muslim rally in Germany, and Jess Phillips's attempt to cancel Liz Truss for appearing on Lotus Eaters

-Peak woke, or, rather, Peak Pride, as they must learn to call it this month -What Toby intends to say to Owen Jones if they're ever on Question Time together

-And in the Based Department the bar-owner in Idaho who's declared June to be 'Heterosexual Awareness Month'

Nick’s added message and the closing theme were at the right volume, so normalising wouldn’t work unless you did it selectively in the audio editor software, deselecting the closing message. That would allow the selected parts to reach a decent volume. Still a quick and easy process.

Check for distortion in the loudest parts and if is OK you are good to go. (Annoying you can’t edit posts in !)

Guys, you HAVE TO normalise your audio before you upload. My phone was at full volume and I could hardly hear it. Even free audio editor software has this function. Pop your audio file into the software, hit NORMALISE and save the file. This will maximise the volume of the audio without compression. 2 minutes. minutes
